Fall at ZHR Vineyard Venue

Anthony, with AJ Fab & Design, who has designed and built several wonderful features at Zamora Hills Ranch event venue, a country venue located on a private estate in the rolling hills of Zamora in Northern California, recently built a large LOVE marquee sign for our venue! We are very happy to feature this new sign in our newest area of the event venue, a spacious partially covered courtyard! Clients who choose to rent the venue for their special event (wedding, engagement party, bridal shower, etc) will have a whole lotta fun and love this cool photo backdrop. We are currently booking 2026 and 2027 events at ZHR venue with a view, and now offer another great photo opportunity!

Here at the ranch venue, we welcome photographers to photograph their clients special occasions, including proposals and engagement photos! Photographer, Arlene Castro @arlenecastrophotography, captured this sweet couple's proposal in front of our barn doors! These barn doors were recently build with 100+ year old barn wood repurposed from a nearby barn, for a new addition to the our Northern California country venue. The new area provides a spacious courtyard to host special celebrations such as county weddings, or ranch weddings, engagement parties, anniversary parties, graduation parties, celebration of life and other special events at our Yolo County event venue! Consider Live Event Painting as a unique and entertaining addition to your wedding or special event, as live event art is a truly memorable experience that captivates attendees. At a recent fall wedding here at Zamora Hills Ranch event venue, the groom's sister hired a Live Wedding Painter as a gift for the wedding couple. The artist painted the backdrop of the ceremony site, the rolling hills planted with vineyards, before the ceremony started. She continued working on the painting after the ceremony, adding the couple and many more details during the reception. Guests were entertained as they stopped by to see how the painting was coming along. The artist, Sasha Lyth, Instagram @sasha_allanja, captured the wedding couple so beautifully; a gift they will always cherish. She also captured the beautiful scenery of our county venue, located north of Sacramento in the rolling hills of Zamora, as she did a wonderful job of painting the ceremony site (vineyard side gazebo), with the vineyards and rolling hills beyond!
